Red Velvet Brownies Recipe

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit and line an 8x8 inch baking pan with parchment paper.
  • In a double boiler over low heat, melt the butter and chocolate, stirring occasionally.
  • Whisk in the sugar, eggs, vanilla extract, and red food coloring after removing from the heat.
  • Combine the flour and salt in a separate bowl.
  • Smooth the top of the batter into the prepared baking pan.
  • Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the centre of the cake comes out clean.
  • Allow to cool completely before slicing and serving.
