Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (180°C) and line an 8-inch (20-cm) square baking dish with parchment paper.
- In a medium mixing bowl, combine the flour, cacao powder, baking powder, and salt.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the melted butter and sugar until well combined.
- Whisk in the eggs one at a time, whisking thoroughly after each addition.
- Incorporate the vanilla extract.
- Whisk the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients until just combined.
- Incorporate the chocolate chips.
- Smooth the top with a spatula after pouring the batter into the prepared baking pan.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the centre comes out moist with crumbs attached.
- Allow to cool completely in the pan on a wire rack.
- When the brownies are cool enough to handle, lift them out of the pan with the parchment paper and cut them into squares.
