Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F.
  • Grease a 9x13 baking dish.
  • Melt the butter in a medium saucepan over low heat.
  • Stir in the sugar to combine.
  • Heat the mixture for 1-2 minutes, or until it is hot but not bubbling.
  • Take the pan off the heat and stir in the cocoa powder and salt.
  • Allow the mixture to cool for 5 minutes.
  • Add the eggs one at a time, stirring well after each.
  • Mix in the vanilla extract.
  • Using a rubber spatula, gently fold in the flour and chocolate chips until just combined.
  • Distribute the mixture evenly in the prepared pan.
