Brownies with Chocolate Syrup Recipe

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F.
  • In a large mixing bowl, melt the butter.
  • Combine the sugar, cocoa powder, salt, baking powder, and vanilla extract in a mixing bowl.
  • Beat in the eggs thoroughly.
  • Mix in the flour and chocolate chips until thoroughly combined.
  • Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the centre comes out clean, in a greased 9x13 inch baking dish.
  • While the brownies are baking, make the chocolate syrup in a small saucepan over medium heat by heating the heavy cream.
  • When the cream is hot, remove it from the heat and stir in the chocolate chips until smooth.
  • Allow the brownies to cool for a few minutes before drizzling the chocolate syrup on top.
  • Serve warm or at room temperature after slicing.
