Brownie with Chocolate Balls and Syrup Recipe

Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius.
- Bake in a 20cm square baking dish lined with baking paper.
- Set the chocolate and butter in a heatproof bowl set over a saucepan of simmering water, but not touching the water.
- Stir until the chocolate and butter have melted and blended together.
- Remove from the heat and set aside to cool for a few minutes.
- In a large mixing bowl, whisk the eggs and sugar together until pale and fluffy.
- Fold in the flour, cocoa powder, and salt until just combined.
- Fold in the melted chocolate and butter mixture until fully combined.
- Fill the prepared tin halfway with the mixture and smooth the top with a spatula.
- Arrange the chocolate balls evenly on top of the mixture.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the top is crisp but the centre remains slightly gooey.
- Remove from the oven and set aside for 10 minutes to cool in the tin.
- Remove the brownie from the pan and place it on a wire rack to cool completely.
- Before serving, drizzle the chocolate syrup over the top of the brownie.
