1/2 cup (1 stick) unsalted butter
1 1/4 cups granulated sugar
1/2 cup semisweet chocolate chips
3/4 cup cocoa powder (unsweetened)
1/2 cup all-purpose flour
2 eggs
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
Using parchment paper, line an 8-inch square baking pan.
In a saucepan over low heat, melt the butter.
Stir in the sugar, cocoa powder, and salt until smooth.
Remove from the heat and set aside to cool slightly.
One at a time, add the eggs, stirring well after each addition.
